The AutoRaise team are working on a challenge to the Department for Education to increase the current funding band allocated to the new L3 Multi-skilled Standard.
Together with training providers and employers, we are appealing to have the band increased from a maximum of £9,000 per apprentice to £15,000.
Whilst this may mean that employers have to pay more for training, it ensures that high quality, robust and fit-for-purpose training provision will be available to train new, much needed Multi-skilled Apprentices for the sector.

Apprenticeship Levy update
The Apprenticeship levy is now four months old and businesses will have been paying into their Levy ‘pot’ (their digital account) via HMRC every month if they have an annual payroll bill of £3m or more each year. They have 24 months to spend money in the account.
Funds in the digital account can pay for apprenticeship training and end point assessment (with an approved provider and assessment organisation, up to its funding band maximum). These funds cannot pay for wages, travel or subsidiary costs, managerial costs, work placements, traineeships, or the costs of setting up an apprenticeship programme.
